Altus Maxwell Brown, part of Altus Group is pleased to announce the letting of the 11,015 sq ft first floor West Wing at Omnibus, Reigate to Deutsche Leasing (UK) Limited. Deutsche Leasing has taken a 15 year lease with a mid-term break option and the building is now 75% let. Altus Maxwell Brown and Strutt and Parker acted for the landlord Redefine International.
Deutsche Leasing joins 1st Credit and Updata as tenants in this landmark, Grade A building which provides high quality contemporary offices, whilst retaining architectural elements of the listed bus garage which historically occupied this town centre site.
Tim Hodges, Director at Altus Maxwell Brown commented “This is a very significant letting for the Reigate and Redhill market which has seen far improved activity and take-up levels in the first two quarters of this year”.
Sarah Jones, Senior Asset Manager at Redefine said “ We are delighted that the letting, to such a strong covenant as Deutsche Leasing, completed only a few months after the acquisition of the Omnibus building as part of the second tranche of the Aegon UK portfolio in March 2016. As part of our asset management initiatives to attract tenants and improve the tenant experience we have recently included a coffee operator in the reception area, and early trading suggests this to be a big success. We are confident that the building is in the right location and of the right configuration to have the residual vacant area let in the near future. “
Only the ground floor remains providing self-contained suites of 10,907 sq ft and 5,491 sq ft, which are capable of sub division to meet a variety of size requirements from 1,500 sq ft upwards.
